I dunno, Matregrano's take on Durandal seems way too "constantly angry" to my tastes, which kind of doesn't bring across all his sarcasm and dark humor. It's difficult to imagine this version of Durandal "laughing" at the end of M1.

That style would work pretty well for Tycho, though.
