Yes, this has come up a number of times. The similarities are very striking. It starts out with Frank Herbert's first book in the series Destination: Void which was original published in Galaxy magazine in August 1965 (Vol 23, No. 6) under the title Do I Wake or Dream?
I should add something to the Story page about the similarities.
