Thank you for finding this. :)
I was one of those kids he mentions who got into Bungie thanks to Halo but I'd always wanted to play Marathon since I read about it when googling Halo back in 2009 or 2010 or so, before finally being able to do it when I heard of Aleph One in 2012.
On a side note, I still hope Civvie 11 does a Pro Marathon series some day, and Ross Scott vaguely hinted he might do one in his last Game Dungeon. (though considering his exact words were "an FPS game with great music" which he has described Marathon as having, I admit it's a bit of a stretch as that could mean anything)
