Agreed. I only made reference to it as Bungie were providing details about Marathon on AOL such as the screenshot collage (technically a Marathon Ad) in those early days which provided sufficient information to start the 1st Marathon fan web page in October 1994.

Living outside the US I was not eligible to join AOL. At least that was my impression. Being in university back in '94 gave me fast free access to the "real internet" so those early fan web sites and usenet were my main sources of Marathon news.
