Agreed. It is a common mistake. Fans make it... Bungie staff made it. Ryan Martell called himself "Phfor" in the January 1995 IMG eWorld Conference Transcript. Bungie's own Spring 1995 catalog called the Pfhor "Phfor". The term "Phfor", "Pfhor" and "Phor" are all used in the Original Level Notes and it looks to be the same handwriting. It goes on...
The Marathon terminals are pretty consistently correct however.
A simple mistake.
