How do I install Aleph One Marathon on Mac?

As of yesterday, I am now the proud owner of a Macintosh OSX. The first two things I got for it are Pathways into Darkness and all three Marathon games on Aleph One.

However, I do not know how to get the OSX versions to run: they are disk images and not the games themselves like my Windows copies. Are they just compressed files and not actual ROM images? How do I extract them on Mac?
