It wasn't intentional, really. Originally they found themselves following the Pfhor Plank, and then ended up choosing to side with Tycho (I'll leave you to figure out why) on Rozinante IX. Once the Tycho Plank was finished, they went back to Rozinante IX and finished off what was left of the Pfhor Plank. After that, they went all the way back to Hairy Legs and diverted over to the Salinger Plank.
