Anyways. Looking at "https://youtu.be/OLWpqkSgfMc?t=1911", I notice that you were trapped in what appears to be the exact center of a square on the map. I don't remember Pathways, though — maybe the map always simplified your position.

To be honest, Pathways always frightened me too much in those days.
