Still, I get what you mean - those Ticks seem terribly ill-suited to doing anything on the ground. Then again, it could be like certain kinds of swans, where the 'dance' is mostly about a pair of individuals engaging in synchronized swimming/movement. In that case, they could simply 'dance' while flying.
