The Hf'ra'rkc'tal

A thought I had regarding that bad Scrabble hand.
So terminal 3 of 'The Hard Stuff Rules...' mentions a Hf'ra'rkc'tal, a creature presumably native to Lh'owon. The original outline for M2 includes the Armageddon Beast (VII-2, 'Barbarians at the Gate').
Are they the same creature, with that 'Hard Stuff' terminal the only reference left of the Beast?
(Yeah, it could just as easily refer to the Ticks, but I like this possibility better)
