: No, because the loop eventually got broken by accident, when the W'rkncacnter
: unfused Durandal-Thoth and threw the Thoth part (named Pthia in this
: incarnation, but who knows how many names D-T has gone through in his
: really long lifetime, like Maisie Williams' character on Doctor Who) into
: the sun, thus causing Durandal to, in despair, wreck himself on the moon
: after tracking down and containing Earth's W'rkncacnter, thus providing
: humanity with the technology needed to build the Traxus IV clones...
: including Durandal. This explains why human AIs always seem to go Rampant;
: they were built from a Rampant AI as the original. :-)
This requires too much paradoxical logic. Durandal can't exist in the future-past if he wasn't made in the past-future, and the past-future durandal being made out of the dead remains of the future-past durandal is impossible if the future-past durandal didn't exist first, which it couldn't have since the past-future one needed to exist first in order for the future-past Durandal to exist.
