I guess I probably always thought that Durandal was talking from his own perspective at that point. He does seem to have empathy problems, you know. :)

Interestingly, one small shred of evidence suggests you may be correct. On the previous level, 'Requiem For a Cyborg', Thoth tells us:
"The Eleventh Clan will return.
You must go to them."
Thoth is a pretty cryptic figure, so naturally the meaning of this quote is a little vague - nonetheless, it sure makes it sound like we are going to where the Eleventh Clan are, which could imply K'lia.
