I think it's a pretty interesting factor to consider! We don't really know a lot about what the individual stages of Rampancy entail, but it's not too far-fetched to think that one stage being prolonged or shortened/skipped could have some weird effects on an AI. (Could Durandal's lengthy Melancholia stage possibly be a factor in his stability? Or that might be coincidence.)

I've also seen an interesting parallel drawn with Tycho and the security officer - they're both resurrected by forces outside their control... Which doesn't have anything to do with Rampancy, it's just not an angle on Tycho I'd seen before.
