Wasn't expecting the Conker reference. XD One hopes that those creatures are merely mud golems, 'cuz if not...bleurgh.

On that "master of the tides" conversation: apparently, the official explanation (or at least the one provided by the hint book) is simply that the guy's gone bonkers, but come on--a reference to something later associated with the W'rk in Marathon? That's gotta mean something...

I'm guessing that the Red Potion messes with your adrenaline levels somehow (I remember reading that high levels can slow your perception of time).
