Yeah, especially given all the elaborate puzzle/trap things he seems to have set up for you (and the fact that I found one of them not realizing it was a secret exit, so it seemed like him kidnapping and diverting you from your mission à la Blaspheme Quarantine was part of the plot), I was expecting Cosimo to turn out to be the devil or something. Also, all that calling the player a "little lamb" and talking about the necessity of sin and stuff. I was kinda disappointed when nothing ended up coming of that.
