Ah, so it's kind of like me finding out that Dax's first host on Star Trek: DS9 was called Leela, and that the only thing we knew about her until the third season or so is that she apparently was known for making initiates perform unreasonably difficult tasks (in the episode "Playing God", Dax calms one down by telling him "I'm not Curzon, or Leela").

Fair enough.
