The final terminals suggest that he's become some sort of guardian of the S'pht'Kr. The ending screen suggests that he gave up on his quest to escape the universe (I still wish they'd given some kind of hint as to how he planned to accomplish that in the first place), and the reference to S'bhuth suggests that he stuck with the S'pht'Kr for quite a long time. The thing that makes *me* sad about that ending is that there's no mention of what became of Blake and his men—or the ones that escaped our mowing them down, at least. :-/ In "A Converted Church", the Pfhor captured the Bobs and were about to ship them all offworld for the unsavory-sounding process of "conditioning." Did they manage to do that before the S'pht'Kr showed up? Did the S'pht'Kr free them? Did they die in the crossfire when the S'pht'Kr blew up the ships in the Pfhor fleet? We never find out, and as annoying as the AI for the Bobs can be, story-wise they're the only really sympathetic characters in the game, and Blake is certainly the only character from any faction that treats the player character like an equal and an actual human being instead of a tool. I really wanted him to have gotten home safely.
