I'm quite a fan of this theory, honestly! The idea of the PC in Pathways into Darkness becoming the security officer via battleroid recycling never sat very well with me - unless the PiD PC was extremely well-preserved upon dying, how useful could their body possibly be? So your idea fits in better with the timescale, and also with the reincarnation theme from the "Kill Your Television" terminal.
The security officer being a later model of battleroid than the ones who went Rampant on Icarus and Thermopylae also makes sense - MIDA would presumably want battleroids they were sure they could control. ... which hasn't stopped me from writing a security officer who is from the Icarus/Thermopylae battleroid generation because I enjoy horrible heartbreaking things, but it's one of those areas where canon is pretty ambiguous, so there's room for both versions.
