My badly unfinished novel Marathon Resurrection (not the same as the unreal mod) will state in either the second or third book that the SO (Marcus Jones in my case to with Eternal)is a next generation battleroid too. He is known as John Carver when an organic but dies during a demon invasion at the endcycle of the Marathon's contruction after the Misriah Massacre and MIDA coup. (tying in Marathon with Doom)
His battleroid training with Hathor and the rest takes place on Crete in various parkour and armed combat assault courses built in and around the ruins of the Daedalus labyrinth, which was used after Minos' death as a blood sports and training arena for adventurer's across Europe.
Still no idea where the Jjaro implants for the cyborgs came from though. Pilfered from the Black Pyramid (not the W'rk one) maybe? Or found in Deimos' Jjaro outposts along with that of Phobos and Martian Cydonia?
