Yeah, that's another thing I should've pointed out. In truth, though, I don't think we can say with any certainty that Rage II or Envy are in any way tied to Despair. That's not to say that they can't possibly be tied together, and it is clear that the events of Rage II effected Envy to some extent - namely, the Tycho of Envy recognizes we have the primal pattern of Durandal from Rage II. Does this mean they are the same timeline? Not necessarily; it's possible that Tycho's figured out what we're capable of.
So, while it's possible that the multiple 'Tycho' timelines of Infinity are actually one and the same - and indeed many first-time players may have assumed this from the start - it is also possible that they are similar but distinct timelines.
