We encountered that spelling on Post Naval Trauma also. I guess the Double Aught influence :).

: shotgun shell size, as Wikipedia tells me: "Buckshot size is
: designated by actual diameter or (traditionally) by letter or number, with
: smaller numbers being larger shot. Sizes larger than "0"

Fascinating, had no idea of that either!
