Considering Durandal doesn't bother explaining what Lh'owon is or how you got there (adding more confusion to this mess of a narrative for the first time player), I chalk it up to Acme Station not being the very start of that timeline. I think Durandal took you out of stasis and had you start doing stuff, getting weapons along the way, before sending you to Acme Station and Post Naval Trauma to blow up the pfhor armory, explaining how you already start out with weapons, but it's all very confusing.
