Well, the animations when you're firing just look wrong. The image often moves to an awkward position, and if you look closely enough, you can tell it looks more like the original sprites than the hi-res ones, which would make sense if you're running that plugin. It's not absolutely necessary that you fix the problem (heck, I've gotten totally used to it by now), but still, it is an unintended glitch that shouldn't be happening normally.
