: To the right of the oxygen recharger, there's a vertical strip of lighting in the wall texture. Use the Action key on that strip and both doors to the final area will open.
Forgot to mention: for a speedrun, the tricky part is to not get caught up in the enemies on the way to that room. This might be too slow, but a cheesy way to evade them is to duck into the north dead-end hallway (across from the one leading to the stairs) after attracting their attention. They'll lose track of you there, and head for the staircase. Once they've passed, you can head back to the secret switch.
That shortcut saves up to a minute, depending on how fast you can get through the fighters. FWIW, I didn't spot any mistakes beyond that and the ones you noted in your read-me file.
