Well, I think Spark realizes we're ammo scavengers in the highest degree: we kill, grab what we need, and then move on. On the other hand, Durandal realizes that in his case, if he doesn't give us ammo, we'll end up stuck with Fists, maybe some Pistol ammo, and an Alien Weapon - not really a good situation to be in, if you ask me. Now, what if Spark thought we really did need weapons and ammo teleported to us? Would he do it? I somehow doubt it.
