In Response To: Re: Tour of Duty - Charon Doesn't Make Change (Martin) : I've always been confused as to what triggers the sewage to rise on this level. For the basement section, the trigger is in front of the door to the "lab" area. If you avoid that room and keep F'lickta from wandering over there, the spot with the terminals will stay dry. For the second, isolated section, you teleport onto the trigger, so the liquid starts rising as soon as you arrive.
