|Beta 2 test: Mars Needs Women|

Someone once described playing the Marathon demo version of Mars Needs Women 'solo' as akin to digital masturbation.
Ahem… where are my glasses. ;)
But if you were waiting for the full game the demo was all you had, and having played the solo levels 35 times back to back, the last real challenge was the net level Mars Needs Women… played solo.
How hard could it be?
Well here was the challenge back in the day. You cranked the difficulty up to Total Carnage and you tried to stay alive for as long as you could.
Now this meant NO CAMPING in the crows nest overlooking Carnage Central or on the narrow ledges in The Shafts. No hiding out in the Green Room or at the top of the Skylight.
No sir… no wussy gaming here… as soon as you saw a red dot you went for it, hell for leather, BLAM, keep the numbers down, move on to the next. Oh and did I mention… no killing Bobs. Indeed, it would be good old Bob who would eventually keep you alive… for longer.
And as the bodies piled higher… the Pfhor would watch.. they would learn… and slowly but surely, they drew their plans against you.
How long could you survive?
