However, does your method work in the latest Beta? If there's no way of getting off the ground even for a second before firing the Flamethrower, it definitely won't work (firing it up while jumping off the slight drop into the slime pool doesn't count - it would probably just get Hamish killed, unless my hare-brained scheme about a Flamethrower 'stopping' goo damage actually works).
