I believe I've found it…
This first lift stops as soon as you jump across to the ledge after the second lift. Time it right, and you've got yourself a deathtrap. Can't even grenade hop out if it's deep enough, and trying to climb could be fatal, if you're only at x1 health:

There are two chances to get stuck here before you return to the start and can activate the lift again. The first I basically just explained; after reaching the ledge that stops the platform, jump back down instead of going through the door, and head back to the lifts.
The second chance is through the door on the ledge, past the platform puzzle room, and at the end of the hallway behind the Slowww Door™. From there, you can either jump back down to the room surrounding the lifts, or fall down to the starting area, where the exit is located. Choices, choices. :D
