Almost forgot, a couple fun facts about the original Marathon HUD.

1) The blinking light at the top right of the screen is actually misaligned to the right by one pixel (according to the large image underneath)! Hopper's code is taken from the resource fork, so it's a Bungie slip, apparently.

2) Also concerning the blinking light. Though the large HUD images differ between the demo and the full release, the blinking light bitmaps from the demo are present in both! They remained unchanged for the full release of Marathon. (This is also true for the mic light and motion sensor bitmaps)
