: This sounds really cool. For some reason the link won't work though.
: Curious, but how did you embed music tracks - 1 per level I assume?
: I'm hoping to get WMaiD (Where Monsters are in Dreams), and old 80% done TC
: of mine off the ground, and would love some pointers on MML if you have
: the time - particularly with how to replace Terminal art PICTs with
: references to PNGs in a folder + the embeded music per level. :)
: Once your link is operating again, I'll be sure ot give Phoenix a play
: through. :)
What do you mean? The link works fine.
Anyway, embedding music and pngs (I think you actually need to use bmps, not sure) is extremely simple with the map merging program Atque. If you don't use Atque, it beats the pants off Forge merging for a number of reasons. http://sourceforge.net/projects/igniferroque/
With Atque, you construct an unmerged file as a stack of folders, and you drop the whole stack onto the app to merge it into a single product. It can merge map files, and I think images too, and it can also embed terminal/chapter picts into your maps as well as the MML needed to merge music.
It comes with a readme but if you need more help let me know.
