Probably the 7 monster feature of the engine that a lot of people don't know about. Not implying that Hamish does not know about it, I know he does. Just not sure the Aleph One team knows about it.
Also if anyone working on Aleph One ever decides to take a long hard look at how lights work, they might notice the code is broken. Don't fix it, or you will change how lights behave in Marathon.
