I disagree. It's changed a lot, but I'm actually playing more games on my mac than I have in many years. Of course, that is mostly due to OnLive.

And Indie games are alive and well. And there is still Blizzard, they're going stronger than ever. I think it all is, it's just eclipsed by the monstrous console market.
