In Response To: Shout out in the recent Star Trek movie? (EMR) Mirata is just Latin for, roughly, "targeted", "pointed at", "aimed at", etc, or more figuratively "stared at" and thence "contemplated" or "admired" or "wondered about". Given what happens to the shuttle Mirata in the prologue, I think "targeted" is probably the allusion they were going for. Where in Star Trek does this other shuttle Mirata feature? Like what scene, and what happens to it?
