: time ago not to play it until it was done. But if it *is* done... ;)
It's currently on the fifth and final Final Candidate version. I'm holding off on final release until next weekend (the 23rd) so Don can be here for it, and so I can make sure it's as flawless as possible. I know, good dev practice would have me release another Final Candidate after fixing the bugs in FC5, but I feel like at some point I have to say "done enough!" and release it. We could go on finding tiny bugs forever...
And besides that, sometime later this year, there will be another version with new high-res weapon graphics and player sprites (already in progress and looking good), some multiplayer maps (not sure who's going to make those yet), and hopefully, an awesome new thing: a coop-only vidmaster's challenge featuring the fate of other eight Battleroids (besides you and Hathor). But I'm not holding off on the release of what's already done, which is fine in its own right, for all those extras.
And I'm honored to hear that you're awaiting it's release :-)
