Basilisk II on Vista

I got a new computer (with Vista) recently and just now put BII on it. I set up the drives, the ROM, etc, and when I fired it up, the screen went all screwy and it wouldn't do anything for me. Admittedly, this is just a version copied from my old XP computer, on which it worked fine. Is there a newer version or is BII just not Vista-ready?
