Forget it : I was simply being dumb. To try to find an excuse, I'll say that the polygons are confusing on this level ! I found the way out, atop of the tower as I was initially expecting, but I had missed the "part 3" of the stairways to heaven.
Only to be greeted with a "to be continued" sign ! Duh !

Now I'm ready to play Mk X. But I'll wait a few months when it'll be ready.
