They said something along the lines of it having been lost on a crashed one man submarine on the Latin American coast. I always kinda thought that was just meant to silence demands about the Win95M2 because they weren't able to give it away for legal reasons. Heck, the M2 source that was relesed had even parts missing because of that ( sound code ).
