Where Some Rarely Go

So, um... help anyone? I got the Spht card key, now what? There's a non-active switch in one of the tunnels, is that supposed to do anything? By reading the walkthrough I know I'm supposed to open a door, but the only locked door I saw is out of reach once you jump down to the bottom part of the level. If anyone here has beat Infinity and remembers the level, plz help.
