Whereas the bard remains dead and buried, except for my friend who gets a class of inner-city high school youth to perform Macbeth or Hamlet every year at the end of the school year, and then chaperones them up to Ashalnd, OR for the annual Shakespeare festival. Not to mention the ever-evolving communities of actors who put on "reduced" versions of the great plays he wrote, or that fantastic film rendtion of Rosencrantz and Gildenstern are Dead...probably one of the best movies ever made, and if that ain't fan fiction...
