In Response To: Portal of Sigma... (thermoplyae) : It's probably worth mentioning here. Looks pretty cool. Weapons/physics aren't my cup of tea, but the maps and textures are amazing. A couple warnings for those who get it though: You need to remove the superlog.mml file from the Scripts folder, or your Aleph One Log.txt file will become HUGE. I'm talking many dozens of MB here in a short time. In addition to changing some of its own strings, which is OK I guess if it has to, it has MML which replaces all of Aleph One's default strings with strings from an older version of Aleph One. This means some error messages and other strings are wrong, so don't trust them. Scenario guys: this is bad practice (even if you use strings from the newest version), only put strings in MML that you actually want to change! The licenses that come with the engine have been removed. This is *VERY BAD*! They have to be included in order to be able to distribute the application. For the time being refer to the license files included with the official Aleph One download (http://marathon.sourceforge.net), you can find the source for the engine there as well. If any Sigma guys are reading this, you need to fix the license issue with a new version ASAP! You also need to (at least) link to the source code for the engine. Technically the source should be on fileball as well but right now there aren't any links or anything, you've removed the licenses and even our webloc pointing to the engine's home page :( If you don't want to do this, then please don't include Aleph One with PoS, people can always download it separately anyway.
