I remember Callahan White (a.k.a. Chris DesMarais, SilvrHamr, Der UberGott, Alaric, whatever he went by.)
...I went to high school with him. We used to talk and hang out - I suppose at one point we were friends...
...And yes, he is/was an ass - though, he had some way of blind-siding people with his "modest" personality, to make them believe he was some insane genius, or something.
I haven't spoke to the guy in almost 4 years, but I heard from his ex-girlfriend (yeah I can't believe he had one either) that, she spotted him at her brother's graduation (apparently his sister was graduating, too). She said he looked like shit.
So, the guy is/was alive, as of June 2005. What he's doing (probably 10-25 years) I don't know. We were friends I suppose. I used to hate him...now I kinda feel sorry for him. Sounds like he's just letting himself rot, these days. Though I can't say I'm suprised - he always was mentally ill, in his own way.
