: them as Pfhor Platforms - I actually modeled them on the central Jailhouse
: elevator in "The Exit Door Leads in" of Rubicon. I'll change the
: platforms to have one "down" elevator" and the leave the
: other alone, with it functioning as an "up" elevator.

Another solution is to leave an open shaft on the far side of the platforms the player could use to drop down to the floor while the platform did it's thing.
