I quote from the KKV-7 Flechette info:
...The flechette, with it's small cross-section (4mm), longer body and pointed nose experiences far less wind resistance and thus retains more muzzel velocity over a greater distance with a flatter trajectory than it's less advanced "slug-thrower" counterparts. It's armor piercing capabilities rival those of the mighty M1A2 .75BR and the bio-organic trauma it inflicts is terrifying (being somewhat less effective against mechanical targets).
...Might M1A2 .75BR...??? What is this? Some sort of super gun? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW @#$$ BIG .75 IS!!!! That's almost an INCH wide bullet! Is this thing an assault-rifle? Or is it a sniper-rifle? Since it's usually sniper-rifles that have that kind of round. Does this mean that Marathon used to have a sniper-rifle? Or that there was talk of one? Or am I completely wrong :P
But the name M1A2 is the kind of name you give an assault-rifle. And if there was an assult-rifle with that kind of power, why doesn't the player use it? Seeing as how they call it "Mighty". And since the player didn't use it, who did?
Also, is the info on the MA75B they say this:
...The original M .75 was a rediculous toy designed to...
This of course is the old Marathon 1 AR. But, do the M∞ AR the M1 AR and the M1A2 guns use the same caliber? .75? If they do, then what made the M1A2 "Mighty"?
One last thing, why is the M1 AR an Assault-Rifle, but the M3 MA75B a Battle-Rifle, but the M1A2 which is presumably older than the M1 AR a Battle-Rifle? What changed the weapons from BR to AR back to BR?
*Gasp*
