I was just reading through the section on the KYT text and found this little bit
"Chadd Nervig <drmemory@gte.net> points out that in the unformatted line
iam%hero
the % could be a missing letter similar to the % in for%ver. Thus instead of
i am hero
we have
i am a hero
While it doesn't change the meaning it is possibly a more accurate deciphering of the text since it doesn't ignore the % sign."
I tend to dissagree about it changing the meaning. A hero just means one of many, while saying I am hero implies that the speaker (we've determined that it's the marine, right?) is head and shoulders above any other heros. That fits better with the Infinty final screen, IMHO. Being destiny and being the eternal hero are similar, in my mind.
