Marathon references in Escape Velocity Nova

In the game Escape Velocity Nova, their is a station dubbed 'Mjolnir'
It is dedicated by the Polaris, an advanced alien race wich uses cyborg ships, to a Cyborg soldier who saved them. That cyborg is known only by his unit designation:
Mjolnir.
Just a cute little reference.
