Since most North American-cut T-shirts are meant to either be tucked in or worn our (and thus, be longer) - I suggust having yours hemmed DMA.
Recently, I've done that with many of my shirts. I'm about 125 pounds, 5"10 - and found that I like having trim shirts. I wear that 1970s-style long sleeve undershirt with T-shirt on top look alot. Since my t-shirts were all longer than my long sleeves - I had my mother (while I'm at university) take about 2.5 inches or more off the bottom of each shirt. The same goes for some dress shirts. I really don't like tucking in my shirts. : )
