That many passes with silkscreening equipment doubles (and in some cases) triples the cost of having the shirts themselves silkscreened. That process is also using a screen printer - the method I use (if you go the multicolor logo route) involves separating each color on to a different screen, and burning a template for each. Then two passes (for durability) are made for each color.
I prefer the simplicity of one color logos. : )
