How much of the MSP do you "buy"?

Just curious...

How much of the analysis on the Marathon Story Page do you incorporate into your own belief on the Marathon story?

For me, I'd say I buy about half of it. The other half... well, let me explain it this way:

In one of the Matrix DVDs, one of the set designer talks about how Matrix fans thought a panel/object/name/whatever meant something... when really, all they did was think up a design for the panel/object/name/whatever that sounded cool.

I call it the Matrix Effect, and thats why I'd say about half of the stuff on Marathon Story Page. The other half seems to "reveal" too much for what people are analysing.

So, what about you? Is the MSP the definitive guide for Marathon's story, or do sections of it make you scream "they put the "I am hero" stuff in because they needed a post-activation thing for that terminal, and it sounded cool!"
