: Use the bottom screen to display a section of the map and the HUD, the top
: screen exclusively for action. Then you don't really have to worry about
: having a map button. Plus, use the stylus or thumb pad with the touch
: screen to handle turning and aiming -- like Metroid Prime: Hunters --
: while the D-Pad handles running and sidestepping, and that eliminates the
: need for separate keys for turning and sidestepping. So, you'd have the
: stylus to change weapons, turn, look, and view the map, the D-Pad for
: running and sidestepping, the L-button for weapon trigger, and maybe the
: other shoulder button or a stylus double-tap for the secondary trigger.
: Metroid uses the double-tap for its jump, but Marathon doesn't have one,
: so that'd probably be the best bet. Plus, with that kind of control
: scheme, you could set the unit up to use the XYAB buttons and R-trigger,
: instead of the D-Pad and L-trigger, for left-handed people. You can't go
: wrong, I say!
Now that's what I'm talking about!
